Christmas
is
the light
within
you.
Christmas
is
its message.
Beyond
the religious
meaning
of what
we celebrate.
Christmas
is more
our intimate
relation to
the light
in us
as
being
in need
of light,
as
children
of light.
The light
of
Christmas
is also
for any
adults
Who
have kept
deep
inside
them
a child’s
heart.
In
that
sense
Christmas
talks
to all
of us
without
discrimination.
indeed
it is in
the essence
of all
light
to shine.
The sun
does not
shine
only
on those
who
need it.
We
celebrate
the light
in terms
of
friendship,
of
brotherhood
but
especially
in terms
of love
that
the christians
Call
Immanuel.
it is
strange,
almost
mysterious,
on how much
the light is
extremely
linked
to life.
The light is
a beautiful
and subtle
messenger.
Everything
is light.
even
when
our eyes
cannot
distinguish
it.
Certainly
the shadow
and
the darkness
are just light
which
our eyes
have not
yet had
the happy
fortune
to perceive.
The odyssey
of the light
is not
always
a religious
one
but
a teaching
of love,
compassion,
kindness.
The sun
is dying
every time
it gives us
life through
its light.
Yet
it is
still
burning.
